My camping trip

 What is the most fun  thing to do with your family… yes that's right camping! In February I went camping with my family for 2 days at Mahia beach it was so fun. I really love camping with my family because we can spend some quality time together. We each packed our bags with our sleeping bags,clothes and our blankets so we wouldn't get cold at night. (it was really cold in Mahia) Me Mum and my sisters were listening to the radio in the car  while my stepdad and stepbrother were riding on my dads harley. When we got there we set up our tent and put our sleeping bags and mattresses in the tent. After that we opened up a little compartment in my stepdads work truck where he puts his tools. We took out all the tools and put our food in there we even had a little oven to cook our lunch and dinner. When we finished setting up all our stuff we played a game called Beat The Parents!! While my sisters were asleep. It’s a game where you have to ask questions to kids and parents and the loser had to run all the way into the sea and back. We had a really great time in Mahia it was the best camping trip I have ever been to. We also have a caravan so we can go camping all the time and spend quality time together.

 I think we need to protect dolphins because dolphins are harmless to humans the give hugs and can learn tricks very fast. So please don’t hurt dolphins.

Math measurement

I loved our Math Olympics challenges, they were very fun. We did Archery, Badminton, Weightlifting, Canoeing, Discus, Diving, Gymnastics, High jump, Hokey, Javelin, Soccer and last but not least basketball, my favourite. But really I liked all of them they were all so fun because when we did basketball I loved throwing the ball in the basket even though I didn't get many balls in, I still had fun with my team!

  

Mass and capacity - baking

On Thursday I did baking for mass and capacity. We baked chocolate chip cookies, they were so yummy!

Steps:

First, we put 3 Tablespoons of flour in a bowl.

Second, we put 3 teaspoons of chocolate chips in.

Third, we but 3 teaspoons of sugar in  the bowl and mixed it all together.

Next Mrs Parsons let me whisk 2 eggs together.

We each poured 3 Tablespoons of the egg and butter mixture in our bowls and mixed it all together until it was like dough.

Then we made them into balls and put them in the oven to cook. 

A great holiday

In the holidays my Nanny came to stay with us. We were baking breakfast, lunch and dinner for my Mum, brother, two uncles and my sisters. We were making friendship bracelets, we were painting cool pictures and we also were drawing lots of funny pictures together. We were loving one anther by sharing, caring, hugs and bonding together.

On our last week my Mum asked me, my brother and my sisters if we wanted to go to get some McDonald's, then go to the movies on Sunday. We all said yes! So on Sunday, we all got into some nice clothes and we cruised off to get some McDonald's then we went to the movies we watched Spirit Untamed. It was so cool! After the movie we went to the shop and got some toys. And off we went, home.

My Mum.

Last week on Friday my mum came to our Mothers Day Celebration. I decorated a cupcake for my Mum, she liked it so much. I also made her a cup of tea. We played Headbanz. Bonny's mum did not come so I asked her to play with me and my Mum. Mekah and her mum played too, so did Ellie and Levi. What I liked about our Mothers Day celebration was the games that me and my Mum played with my friends.
